What is Autodesk Inventor CAM?
Autodesk Inventor CAM is computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software that runs inside Autodesk Inventor. Machinists, CNC programmers, and engineers use it to turn Inventor models into toolpaths and CNC code for milling machines, lathes, and mill-turn machines, plus waterjet, plasma, and laser cutters.
Because Inventor CAM works directly on the Inventor model, there's no file translation between design and manufacturing. When the design changes, the toolpaths update with it.
Inventor CAM is included in the Autodesk Product Design & Manufacturing Collection as Inventor CAM Ultimate. It isn't sold on its own.
