Autodesk® Vault® is a powerful tool for managing item and document lifecycles. Our Vault customers often request the ability to receive automatic email notifications when someone has a task to perform in the workflow. With Lifecycle Connection for Autodesk Vault, you can now enable email notifications in your Vault lifecycle workflows!
Lifecycle Connection is easy to set up and manage, and it works with all popular email systems. You can configure email notifications for all transitions into a specific lifecycle state, or for a specific lifecycle transition. The administrator can select from a list of all current Vault lifecycles, states, users, and groups. Even non-Vault users can receive email notifications.
Lifecycle Connection Features
E-mail message templates can be configured within Lifecycle Connection and then applied to necessary lifecycle transitions. E-mails can be sent automatically and without user interaction upon lifecycle transition. Additionally, Lifecycle Connection can be configured to prompt for additional users and/or comments before sending the email. E-mails generated by Lifecycle Connection include a link to the Vault document for easy access.
