  • Advanced workflows include packages, transmittals, and automated review workflows to keep project information connected and synchronized across teams, workflows, and phases.

  • Included with standalone subscriptions of AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
  • Provides foundational cloud-based project data management directly connected to eligible Autodesk desktop design tools.
  • Offers a centralized, cloud-connected environment to organize, view, and share project information.
  • Supports 2D and 3D viewing and markups, search and filtering, folder-level permissions, basic issue tracking, and controlled information exchange.
  • Purpose-built for AECO teams to establish a reliable foundation for collaboration that can expand as project needs grow.
  • Does not support APIs, saved searches, or advanced workflows like automated drawing extraction or publishing.
  • Can coexist with other Forma products such as Build, Takeoff, or Forma Design Collaboration but does not unlock their features.
  • Projects using Essentials can be upgraded to full Forma Data Management by purchasing a subscription, unlocking additional capabilities without migration or project recreation.
