What is AutoCAD Architecture?
AutoCAD Architecture is one of seven specialized toolsets included with Autodesk AutoCAD. It turns AutoCAD into an architectural drafting tool: instead of drawing lines that look like walls, you place wall, door, window, and space objects that know what they are. Plans, sections, elevations, and schedules then update from those objects.
It's built for architects, interior designers, and building designers who produce construction documents in AutoCAD's DWG format. Autodesk reports architectural drafting productivity gains of up to 61% with the toolset.
