Mission of the Sales Support Group

The Sales Support Group helps salespeople take care of their customers by handling transactions and customer service duties. This frees up the salespeople to focus on selling and building customer relationships. A desire to help others, patience, and the ability to work well under time constraints are necessary personality traits of the Sales Support Group. The Sales Support Group has the following primary responsibilities:

• Reporting of Customer Software Usage

Duties

• Preparation and delivery of accurate customer price quotes as requested by salesperson team members.
• Processing of sales orders, as entered according to original quotes.
• Preparation and delivery of customer invoices (not required for the majority of orders).
• Processing of purchase orders to vendors as according to sales orders (not required for the majority of orders).
• Updating and maintaining of customer asset data in CRM system.
• Communicating directly with our primary vendor to resolve customer transaction issues.
• (If assigned): Preparing software usage reports and presenting them to customers.
• Keeping informed and current regarding Hagerman and Autodesk sales programs and policy
• Accurate and timely transaction processing and data entry
• Timely and always-friendly email communications
• Striving to “support” sales staff

We are seeking a PLM Presale Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to support sales initiatives by designing innovative solutions and delivering compelling product demonstrations. Your proactive approach will help build strong client relationships and drive successful deal closures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate across teams, showcase your technical knowledge, and contribute directly to business growth.

• A high-level understanding of typical manufacturing business processes, and the ability to demonstrate that knowledge
• Ability to translate customer requirements into documented workflows
• Some experience with common Product Lifecycle Management workflows such as Bill of Materials Management, Change Management, New Product Development, etc.
• Some experience with parametric CAD data management
• Direct experience with one or more Product Lifecycle Management applications
• Basic understanding of typical business system software integration. For example, how and why PLM software commonly integrates with ERP/MRP
• The ability to develop and communicate long-term software implementation plans executed with a phased approach
• The ability to estimate required effort for typical software implementation activities

Experience:

• Experience with Autodesk Vault as a user or administrator
• Experience with Autodesk Fusion Manage as a user or administrator
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor document management
• Experience with the coolOrange software suite
• Detailed knowledge of business system software integration methods
