Length: 3 days (8.5 hours each)

This three-day fundamentals course covers the indispensable core topics for working with Advance Steel. The teaching strategy is to start with the tools that enable the student to create and edit a 3D project model and produce 2D design or fabrication drawings.  Not every command or option is covered because the intent is to show the most essential tools and concepts.

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Understand the Advance Steel user interface
  • Create Structural Models (Foundations, Columns, Beams, Bracing)
  • Create Steel Connections
  • Create Other Model Objects (Grating, Cladding, Ladders, Stairs)
  • Create Drawings
  • Create Bill of Materials and Numerical Control Files
  • Share Data between Revit or Plant 3D
