Training Cancellation Policy:

Registrations cancelled more than 7 days prior to a class are fully refundable.

Registrations cancelled within 7 days prior to a class, including no-shows, are not refundable; however, 50% of the fees paid may be credited toward registration for a future or rescheduled class.

If we cancel a class for any reason, you will receive, at your option, either a full refund of fees paid or full credit for fees if paid toward registration in any future class offered.

Class Name: Autodesk Revit Structure New User Classroom Training
Prerequisites: A working knowledge of Windows and structural engineering, drafting or architectural experience
Classroom fee: Shown in table above, per person, includes manual
Customized fee: Applicable per day pricing, plus $75 for manual
Class length: 3 days
Time:  8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
AIA Continuing Credit Hours: 20 hrs.

Course Overview:

This course is designed to teach you the essential features and functionality of Autodesk Revit Structure, from structural design through construction documents.

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Describe building information modeling and the benefits of bidirectional associativity
  • Navigate through the interface, manage views and identify structural elements
  • Start new projects, create levels, import files and use column grids
  • Work with structural walls, sections and elevations
  • Create form framing, roofs, structural steel frames, sloped beams and floor decks
  • Create foundation slabs and footings and grade beams
  • Create stairs, ramps and elevator pits
  • Prepare the analytical model for analysis
