Training Cancellation Policy:

Registrations cancelled more than 7 days prior to a class are fully refundable.

Registrations cancelled within 7 days prior to a class, including no-shows, are not refundable; however, 50% of the fees paid may be credited toward registration for a future or rescheduled class.

If we cancel a class for any reason, you will receive, at your option, either a full refund of fees paid or full credit for fees if paid toward registration in any future class offered.

Course Details
Class name: Autodesk Navisworks New User Classroom Training
Prerequisite: This class is suitable for users who are new to Navisworks with a general familiarity of 3D design and task scheduling.
Manual: Autodesk Navisworks Essentials
Length: 3 days
Time 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Classroom fee: Shown in table above, per person, includes manual
Customized fee: Applicable per day pricing plus $75 for manual
AIA Continuing Credit Hours: 20 hrs.

Course Overview:
Students use hands-on exercises that demonstrate the functionality of Autodesk Navisworks Review, Simulate and Manage features. You will learn how to open, review and run object-interference checks on 3D models. You will also learn how to link to task-scheduling files and create 3D construction simulations. Using the Animator and Scripter tools you will create interactive animations and in addition learn how the Presenter tools can help you create photorealistic images and animations.

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Open and dock the required control windows and toolbars and customize the workspace layout.
  • Open and append Navisworks NWD files and other file formats within Navisworks.
  • Check and change file units.
  • Save all opened files into one Navisworks NWF file.
  • Use Publisher to save as an NWD file
  • Merge similar NWF files into one file without duplication.
  • Use Data Tools to link to external databases.
  • Work with different data fields to be viewed from within the Navisworks Property window.
