None. Class will focus on overview
of Autodesk 3ds Max with emphasis on modeling, materials, and lighting.

After completing this class you will be
able to:
Navigate the user interface
Create and modify primitive objects
and 2D shapes utilizing mesh and spline modifiers and compound objects.
Use sub-object manipulation in
applying modifiers.
Import AutoCAD geometry
using the import function and file linking, as well as the Asset Manager
Organize your scenes based on layers,
scene states, xRefs, and display parameters.
Apply bitmaps (including logo
application) to your objects and manipulate the mapping properties.
Create your own materials and
understand the basics of material editing.
Apply standard and photometric
lights.
Render with the default scanline
engine, mental ray engine, and radiosity.
Apply animation through keyframing
and manipulate your animation in Trackview.
Learn how to use constraint controllers in
animation.
