Autodesk now offers a 12 month stand alone license of AutoCAD 2010 or AutoCAD 2009 for $1,995 to commercial customers in the United States.

Autodesk is always exploring more flexible methods to meet customer needs. The AutoCAD term license is expected to meet the needs of customers who have limited budgets, project-based budgets, or simply need a cost effective way to meet peak demands for design software.
