8:50 - Welcome

Lab One (9 - 10:10 a.m.) Lab Two (9 - 10:10 a.m.)

Building Design Suite & Visualization

This presentation focuses on the workflow between applications that are traditionally used for BIM content creation, Revit and AutoCAD Architecture, and three different visualization platforms that are available to BDS subscription users. In the case of 3ds Max Design and Autodesk Showcase, we will focus on rapid workflow and the ability to deliver photorealistic content in real time, including the use of Augmented Reality. For subscription users, the most interesting part will be the ability to leverage the cloud based workflow through the use of 360 rendering service.

Autodesk PLM 360 – Data Management Anytime, Anywhere for Anyone

With Autodesk PLM 360, it not is a question of whether or not your company can use PLM 360, it is really a question of “how can your company use PLM 360?”. Autodesk PLM 360 is a totally flexible product that can be used for any type of data management and workflow and is not just limited to PLM (product lifecycle management) usage.

In this session, discover how PLM 360 can be used in engineering, sales, quality, project management, HR, marketing, purchasing or any other company department. Also find out how PLM 360 is totally accessible from your office computer, from the road or home and via mobile devices in a 100% secure environment. Autodesk Vault users will also be interested in learning how it can integrate with and complement Vault.

Lab One (10:30 - 11:40 a.m.) Lab Two (10:30 - 11:40 a.m.)

Autodesk Vault Collaboration AEC: Data Management for Architects and Engineers

Find out how Autodesk Vault Collaboration AEC can help architects, engineers and consultants by centralizing the storage of all project data and related documents, reducing time organizing files, avoiding costly mistakes, and more efficiently releasing and revising designs. Autodesk Vault Collaboration AEC is designed to work seamlessly with other Autodesk AEC software applications including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D and other AutoCAD-based products, Autodesk Navisworks and Autodesk Buzzsaw.

Building Design Suite Ultimate & the Design-Build Process

In a fast-paced DB environment, the ability to streamline and accelerate processes necessary for the optimized project delivery is directly proportionate to one’s ability to minimize information loss. Using real life examples, we will demonstrate how complex projects and their demanding schedules can benefit from the use of Building Design Suite applications.

Throughout the entire building process, the BIM-enabled workflow affects a team’s ability to collaborate and deliver a product that will exceed their client’s expectations.

Using CAD-Driven Simulation to Validate and Optimize Your Product Designs

In today’s competitive marketplace, it is imperative that your products are efficient, reliable, and cost effective. You need tools that can help you investigate a wide range of design variations on your desktop before building and testing physical prototypes.

With Autodesk Simulation software, you can predict, optimize, and validate complex geometries quickly, explore multiple what-if scenarios in parallel, and run larger-scope simulations using the computational power of the cloud. We’ll show you how you can take advantage of mechanical stress and strain, CFD, and plastic injection molding software when you need it.

Lab One (2:15 - 3:15 p.m.) Lab Two (2:15 - 3:15 p.m.)

Collaboration in the Cloud and Subscription Advantages

With today’s fast paced building projects and ever increasing demand for instant access to project information, the Autodesk Cloud provides many great collaboration tools. The cloud allows for storage of very large files, access to files from mobile devices, rendering, and analysis tools. Subscription customers will gain access to all of these features, plus some special advantages like extra storage and cloud units.
