P&IDs play a significant role in the maintenance and modification of the process that it describes. It is critical to demonstrate the physical sequence of equipment and systems, as well as how these systems connect.  Built on the latest AutoCAD® platform, AutoCAD P&ID is easy to use and familiar to process plant designers and engineers so design teams can begin working immediately with minimal training.

During this 3-hour test drive, participants will get first hand experience using AutoCAD P&ID to:

• Drawing equipment and assigning tags
• Connecting equipment with process lines
• Placing hand valves, reducers and control valves
• Placing instrumentation
• Entering equipment data and placing equipment annotations
• Entering pipeline data and placing equipment annotations
• Placing off page connectors
