HAGERMAN & COMPANY OFFERS BUDGET-FRIENDLY RAPID PROTOTYPING

3D printers enable in-house production of true-3D scale models

MT. ZION, IL. – Hagerman & Company, Inc. today announced its association with Stratasys, Inc., a leading manufacturer of in-office rapid prototyping and manufacturing systems. Hagerman now offers customers the Stratysys Dimension® 3D printer, bringing rapid prototyping within the budget of nearly any manufacturing firm.

Priced at a fraction of the cost of traditional prototyping technologies, Dimension 3D printers are easily incorporated into an existing computer network. The printers can run unattended, providing system and build status information via e-mail, pager or the Internet. The ABS resin used to generate the prototype is available in a variety of colors, to help enhance the accuracy of the rendering.

“Hagerman & Company is pleased to offer its customers an affordable means to generate functional prototypes on-site, using a 3D printer which functions seamlessly within an existing 3D solids modeling environment,” said Dennis Hagerman, CEO, Hagerman & Company, Inc.

The Dimension product line features two desktop printers, the Dimension BST (Breakaway Support Technology) and the Dimension SST (Soluble Support Technology). Using an imported STL file, both systems produce high-quality, 3-dimensional models in true shape and scale using strong ABS resin. These strong, functional models help shorten the product development cycle, by reducing lead time formerly needed for rapid prototype vendors.
