Knox County Manufacturing Skills Program

The Knox County Manufacturing Skills Program was developed to provide funds for employers to increase the skill level of technically skilled workers.

Hagerman & Company’s catalog of CAD training classes, featuring Autodesk solutions, offer the content you need to successfully train your employees in these new disciplines.

To apply for funding, the company must meet criteria including:

  • Your manufacturing or distribution business must be located in Knox County and the employees to be trained must work in your Knox County facility.
  • Each company is eligible to receive a $20,000 annual grant award with additional consideration given to larger employers. Priority is also given to new grant applicants.
  • A 20% match is required to be made by the company applying for funding
  • An outline of the training curriculum and a price quote from the training provider must be submitted with the application.
