AutoCAD® Structural Detailing 2010

AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2010 software, built on the familiar AutoCAD^® platform, enhances productivity with more precise detailing and creation of fabrication shop drawings.
Help improve accuracy through material-specific bills of quantities and schedules. Automate concrete reinforcement definition and shop drawing creation for various types of structural concrete members. Model steel structures or  import CIS/2 files, helping to enable faster and more efficient modeling of steel connections and shop drawings. Help streamline the steel
fabrication process with links to computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines. Extend design to fabrication with direct integration between Autodesk^® Revit^® Structure software and AutoCAD Structural Detailing software.

AutoCAD Structural Detailing includes two powerful toolsets for structural steel and concrete reinforcement detailing projects. AutoCAD Structural Detailing is part of AutoCAD® Revit® Structure Suite and ships with Autodesk® Revit® Structure.

What's New

Enhanced Modeling and Drawing Capabilities

• AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2010 allows users to work in imperial units.
• A new type of summary table for beams and columns according to American
  standards was added to the reinforcement module.
• Generate steel erection schematic drawings in simplified mode.
• Steel module allows users to lock dimensions and descriptions on the drawing to preserve the user’s manual changes to the drawings upon updating.
• Users can now modify rebar by changing the reinforcement bar parameters – option to transfer modifications from one bar to the other bars with the same position number.

Greater Usability

• New customizable ribbon toolbar is task-oriented with redesigned, intuitive icons.
• Greater ability to work with large models – increasing the size of the model is easier and drawings regenerate faster.
• New menu options for reinforcement bar detailing and distribution.

Better Collaboration

• A direct link between Revit Structure software and AutoCAD Structural Detailing was created to help enable more efficient collaboration.
• Reinforcement module now integrates with Autodesk^® Robot™ Structural Analysis Professional software.
• Steel module supports exporting data to CNC machines for bent plates and user-defined profiles.

Adaptation of Revit Extensions for Autodesk Revit Structure 2010 software (the first stage of development: Column, Beam and Spread Footing) to work in AutoCAD Structural Detailing Reinforcement context (common user interface and functionality).
