Haden Smith has been working with and teaching various CAD systems for over 25 years. He is a licensed architect, and has a degree and professional experience in structural engineering as well. His project work has included many building types, large and small, commercial to residential, and he has worked for firms on a scale of small to large as well. Haden served as a member of the National Advisory Group for AIA’s Technology in Architectural Practice PIA, as well as on the National CAD Standard Project Committee, and the National BIM Standards Committee. Throughout his career, he has focused on learning better ways of developing, documenting, and sharing building projects in the AEC industry.
