Hagerman & Company to offer Autodesk 2011
software portfolio and launch events
Company to feature both Autodesk and
in-house experts at upcoming product launch seminars
Mt. Zion, IL –
Hagerman & Company, Inc., one of America’s largest
value-added resellers of Autodesk software, today
announced it will offer the Autodesk 2011 software
portfolio for the manufacturing, building and
construction, and media and entertainment markets .
Hagerman & Company will host a series of
launch events and webcasts from April 27 to June 10
to highlight these latest offerings from
Autodesk. Several of the in-person events will
feature presentations by well-known Autodesk experts
including Lynn Allen, Heidi Hewett, Daryl Corelli and
Amy Fietkau, as well as Hagerman & Company’s technical
staff.
“The upcoming Hagerman & Company launch events are an
excellent opportunity for our customers to connect with
some of the best minds in the CAD industry, including
Autodesk and our own in-house experts,” said Hagerman &
Company CEO Dennis Hagerman. “The events allow us to
introduce the latest innovations in the products we sell
to our large customer base.”
The 2011 versions of the AutoCAD products include
AutoCAD 2011, a leading 2D and 3D design and
documentation platform, and AutoCAD LT 2011 software for
professional 2D drafting and detailing. The
latest release of AutoCAD delivers powerful new features
— such as new tools for surface modeling and support for
point cloud — that can help designers further explore
their ideas and maximize their productivity.
“In the 2011 releases we have continued to invest in
increasing drafting productivity and have added a strong
set of new 3D modeling features for conceptual design
that will help millions of AutoCAD users worldwide take
their designs further,” said Guri Stark, vice president,
AutoCAD and Platform Products. “We have also implemented
many of the top features requested by Autodesk User
Group International (AUGI) members and focused on
providing new tools that are quick to learn but can have
a big impact in everyday work.”
Digital Prototyping with Autodesk Inventor software
gives manufacturers the ability to digitally design,
visualize and simulate how a product will work under
real world conditions before it is built. Digital
Prototyping reduces reliance on physical prototypes,
which helps reduce cost and speed time to market in
highly competitive industries.
“Autodesk Inventor 2011 leads the 3D CAD industry with
Digital Prototyping tools that help manufacturers design
better products, reduce development costs, and get to
market faster,” said Amy Bunszel, senior director,
Digital Engineering, Autodesk Manufacturing Industry
Group. “Designers and engineers can expect dramatic
usability and productivity gains across our entire 2011
manufacturing software portfolio.”
The Autodesk 2011 software portfolio is designed to help
increase industry adoption of the Building Information
Modeling (BIM) process, facilitate multidisciplinary
collaboration and address new and renovation projects.
“The building design, construction and infrastructure
industries must improve productivity, while at the same
time completing complex projects on time and at, or
under budget,” said Jay Bhatt, senior vice president of
AEC Industry Solutions. “Our new 2011 software helps
support that goal by capitalizing on the enormous
benefits of Building Information Modeling, and
facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration from start
to finish for everything from new construction and
renovations on residential and business projects to
large-scale infrastructure and government projects.”
