REAL PRODUCTION-CLASS SYSTEM

Brochures

I would like more information on the Fortus 250mc 3D Production System.

The FDM Process

  • Stratasys software prepares your 3D CAD data for the FDM build process.
  • Thermoplastic build and support material is precisely deposited layer-by-layer, forming your part.
  • Support material is easily removed in a hands-free water-based tank, or break it away by hand.
Fortus 3D Production System

Get the reliability and flexibility of a professional-grade 3D production system at an affordable price.

Fortus 250mcWith the Fortus 250mc you can produce durable prototypes, manufacturing tools and end-use parts using ABSplus P-430, a production-grade thermoplastic used in real manufacturing applications. Built on a proven Stratasys platform for reliable operation, the Fortus 250mc features a 10 x 10 x 12 inch (254 x 254 x 305 mm) build envelope and three layer thicknesses: .007, .010 and .013 inches (.178, .254 and .330 mm).

The Fortus 250mc is powered by Insight™ job processing and management software which offers users the flexibility to edit standard parameters that control the look, strength and precision of parts, as well as the time, throughput and efficiency of the build process. Like all Fortus 3D Production Systems, the Fortus 250mc utilizes Stratasys Fused Deposition Modeling™ (FDM®) technology to build parts from the bottom up with precisely deposited layers of modeling and support material.

The Fortus 250mc delivers reliable, flexible part production for prototyping and direct digital manufacturing – all at an affordable price.

Reasons to choose a Fortus 3D Production System over a Dimension 3D Printer:

  • SR 30 support material (69% faster dissolve speed)
  • .007, .010, .013 layer thicknesses
  • Insight software – allows you to:
    •  Speed up build times
    •  Reduce support material usage
    • Create custom supports that are easier/faster to remove
    • Improve surface finish
    • Increase part strength
    • “Road-width Control”
    • Build thinner walled parts
    • Build models in support material for RTV molding
    • Complete control of toolpaths to optimize DDM applications, examples include:
      • Vacuum Forming
      • Paper Pulp Molds
      • Metal inserts, RFID tag inserts, etc.

Advanced Software for FORTUS Systems

InsightTM
Build - file preparation software for Fortus 3D Production Systems.

Insight software prepares 3D digital part files (output as an STL) for production on a Fortus system by automatically slicing and generating support structures and material extrusion paths. If necessary, users can override Insight’s defaults to manually edit parameters that control the look, strength and precision of parts as well as the time, throughput, expense and efficiency of the Fortus build process.

Insight software is included with all of the Fortus 3D Production Systems.

Control CenterTM
Job management software for Fortus 3D Production Systems.

Control Center software communicates between the user workstation(s) and the Fortus 3D Production System(s), managing jobs and monitoring the production status of Fortus systems. This software application provides the control to maximize efficiency, throughput and utilization while minimizing response time. Control Center is included with Insight software.

Control Center is included with all Fortus 3D Production Systems.

TEAMTM
Job management software for Fortus operations.

TEAM software is designed for the management and control of multi-user and/or multiple Fortus systems. A client-server application, TEAM enables planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting when managing a multiple-Fortus-enterprise.

TEAM software is sold as a stand alone software package
