| Do you create prototypes? |
Now
you can bring 3D printing right in your office at a very low cost so
you can easily collaborate and make changes for a much more
efficient design process.
And because these printers use only tough, durable ABS plastic that
can be sanded, milled, drilled, painted and even electro-plated, you
can print perfect working models directly from your CAD.
Most design decisions are made up-front in the design process.
Typically the first 10% of the product development process affects
about 80% of the product’s total cost. These decisions are made
during the initial or concept stage of the development process.
Functional 3D models, created on a Dimension, enable the designer
and all others on the design team to make better informed design
decisions, resulting in fewer design changes, better product
designs, lower production costs and lower product costs.
The Dimension product line features six desktop printers.
All systems produce the same high quality ABS parts that allow the designer to test for form, fit and function. Each system is a desktop system, which operates in an office environment. These networked printers are very easy to install and operate. Utilizing the Dimension Catalyst™ software, designers can simply click "print" and their design is sent to the printer. From this point on the Dimension takes over and prints a functional model from ABS plastic.
With models starting at $14,900*, Dimension can pay for itself faster than you think. If you send service bureaus one part a week, Dimension could pay for itself in under a year.
*Manufacturers' worldwide list price. Additional options, shipping, applicable taxes/duties not included.
The Fortus 250mc 3D Production System.
Fortus 3D Production Systems produce the most accurate and durable prototypes and parts using high-performance thermoplastics. Parts produced with a Fortus 3D production system are 30-300% stronger than Stratasys parts produced with 3D printers, even when using the same materials. The advanced technology of Fortus makes the mechanical properties of the part the most accurate, stable, and durable.
With the Fortus 250mc you can produce durable prototypes, manufacturing tools and end-use parts using ABSplus P-430, a production-grade thermoplastic used in real manufacturing applications.
About Stratasys:
Stratasys, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of in-office rapid
prototyping and manufacturing systems for automotive, aerospace,
industrial, recreational, electronic, medical and consumer product
OEMs.
Using patented Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM™) and PolyJet&153;
(available in the Eden333™ in North America only) rapid prototyping
processes, Stratasys RP systems create precision three-dimensional
prototyping parts directly from 3D CAD systems for use in testing
form, fit and function throughout the design and development
process.
Stratasys systems allow design engineers to model highly complex
geometries in a wide range of high-performance engineering materials
- right from their workstation or network - with in-office RP
systems that require no chemical post processing, special venting or
facility modification.
